History

The University Women's Investment Club was established in 1966 in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Club's mandate was to educate Club members in the fundamental principles and techniques of sound investment practices and to invest in shares, bonds, debentures and other evidences of indebtedness or obligations issued by any corporation, association, syndicate or person.

Members held equal shares in ownership and met at monthly and annual meetings. The officers included a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and agent. The club disbanded in October, 1988.
