Scope and content

Original film and digital copy of silent footage, filmed by Dan Coleman, depicting scenes from a protest rally organized by the Saskatchewan Federal of Labour (SFL), held on February 2, 1976 in Regina, Saskatchewan. Attended by SFL members and supporters, the rally was held in response to proposed wage controls by the Saskatchewan and federal governments. Footage includes the rally held at Exhibition Auditorium, the procession from the exhibition grounds, south on Albert Street, to the Saskatchewan Legislative Building, the rally held on the front steps of the Legislative Building with SFL president George Semeniuk tacking a Workers' Proclamation placard to the front door of the building, and the follow-up rally held at Exhibition Auditorium.
