History

Ruth Hamilton (nee Clarke) was born in Moose Jaw on April 30, 1914. She attended King George School, and Central Collegiate. She volunteered as a nurse in China during the Second World War. She later married an American and moved to Norco, Louisiana in 1952. She became a winning member of the Louisiana Senior Olympics in swimming.

Ruth died on January 14, 2003.
