Scope and content

Small volume of publications accumulated and used by Jim and Shirley Wedgwood of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan as follows:

1) Booklet entitled Canadian Pacific Songs for Happy Voyagers, Great Lakes Services, S.S. Assiniboia, S.S. Keewatin.

2) Publication entitled Home Nursing: The Authorized Text Book of the St. John Ambulance of The Priory of Canada of The Grand Priory in the British Realm of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, published in 1954 by St. John Ambulance, Ottawa, Ontario. Includes handwritten annotations and additional notes. (236 p.)

3) Booklet entitled Sagas of the Canadian West: True Tales of Western Canada, Volume Six, published by Frank W. Anderson of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Booklet is Gopher Book No. 15 and contains articles on Lost Lemon Mine; Mic Mac Pipes; Disappearance of Ambrose Small; and tornado in Regina in 1912. The booklet was inscribed to Shirley and Jim Wedgwood.

4) Canada Elections Act Urban Preliminary List of Electors for the Electoral District of Saskatoon, City of Saskatoon, Urban Polling Division No. 50 (1963); Urban Polling Division No. 53 (1964); Urban Polling Division No. 55 (1965). The lists include individuals who resided on Bate Crescent; Copeland Crescent; Cumberland Avenue; Fourteenth Street; Garrison Crescent; Lake Crescent; Leslie Avenue. The Wedgwoods resided on Leslie Avenue.

5) Canada Elections Act Urban Preliminary List of Electors for the Electoral District of Saskatoon - Humboldt, Urban Polling Division No. 58 (1968) and Urban Polling Division No. 103 (1972). The lists include individuals who resided on Bate Crescent; Copland Crescent; Cumberland Avenue; Fourteenth Street; Garrison Crescent; Lake Crescent; Leslie Avenue; Latham Place; Main Street; and Green Gables. The lists indicate the names of residents at each household and their occupations.
