History

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program was re-initiated in 1995 in Moose Jaw with education and exercise components for people who have heart ailments. The actual support group component was formed in 1996, and the group changed its name to the Moose Jaw Cardiaction Support Group the same year. Support group events and meetings were originally held at the Union Hospital, but were moved to the Timothy Eaton Gardens in Autumn 2003. The group had been volunteer run since 2000.

The Moose Jaw Cardiaction Support Group held its last meeting and a commemorative dinner on February 16, 2017, and was disbanded thereafter.
