To collect and preserve records and all other types of information produced by and about Mennonites, Hutterian Brethren and other Anabaptisit churches, individuals and their organizations in Saskatchewan and further to hold additional information and records that place Mennonites into their world context.
Records management and collecting policies
The MHSS collects textual records in the form of printed books, pamphlets and microforms as well as photographs, sound recordings and other material that help illustrate and explain the historical background of Mennonites in Saskatchewan.
Extent: 40 linear metres of textual records, 200 sound recordings, 500 photographs, 2000 books and pamphlets, and a small collection of microfilms and CDs.
