Administrative history

The Meewasin Valley Authority was set up in 1979 to plan and manage the South Saskatchewan River Valley in the vicinity of Saskatoon.

Custodial history

Records kept by the MVA until transferred to City Archives in 1999.

Scope and content

Fonds consists of minutes of meetings, office correspondence, reports and studies undertaken by the Meewasin Valley Authority, as well as the working files of its Executive-Director, Wes Bolstad (1980-1984)and photographs of the 1979 Board members.
