Fonds consist of personal papers documenting the artistic and teaching career of Claude Breeze. The records are arranged in nine series: Art Works, Drawings, Sketches and Sketchbooks; Calendars and Diaries; Correspondence; Personal Financial Records; General Files; Newspaper Clippings; Photographs; Publications; and Scrapbooks. These papers, and in particular the wealth of sketches, drawings, and photographs included in the fonds, trace in detail the development of Breeze's art from his first works produced in the early 1950's to 1969 and beyond. A rich collection of correspondence, photographs, publications, and publicity materials reveals a generation of Canadian artists, poets, and writers who were strongly influenced by the 1960s. • Fonds

Fonds consists of papers, slides, and sculptural maquettes covering a number of commissions and art pieces which Vic Cicansky completed over a twenty year period, from 1969 to 1989. They include maquettes and sketches for "The Old Working Class," and the "New Working Class" commissions, as well as several smaller pieces. The wall sculpture entitled "The Garden Fence," now in the Canadian Broadcasting Building in Regina, is also featured in this collection. Slides take the researcher through the step-by-step processes employed by the artist in creating his sculptures. There is a working sketch, a sample title, a miniature wall, the photographs of the final sculpture as evidence of these processes. This fonds includes the papers of fellow artist, David Zack.
