These files consist of correspondence, reports, data, analyses, etc. pertaining primarily to saline lakes on the Prairies

IV. Lecture Notes/Lakes

These files contain lecture outlines and schedules, extensive notes and graphics as well as laboratory schedules and experiments. A main file usually is followed by a number of subject-specific or supplementary files

II. Field Books/Notes

This series consists of field books and notes containing data entries and analyses pertaining primarily to those lakes in the Qu'Appelle River System

This fonds documents Professor Hammer's research interests (including much data from Saskatchewan and Alberta lakes) and publication record. Also included is material relating to Dr. Hammer's service with such groups as the Water Studies Institute and the Saskatchewan Environmental Society and a file of minutes and memoranda documenting his term as Biology Department Head.
