This fonds contains Professor Altschul's personal papers, including the manuscripts of his two novels, "Trilemma" and "Vorgestern und Uebermorgern," various poems, stories, and articles, as well as personal correspondence, finances, and family memorabilia. It also contains his books "Arteriosclerosis" and "Endothelium," and three books by other authors. Many of the stories, articles, and correspondence refer to the sinking of the Athenia. This fonds also contains files relating to Professor Altschul's research activities, particularly in the fields of arteriosclerosis, endothelium, and niacin.

This collection contains the papers, pamphlets, reports, correspondence, and newspaper clippings which Dr. K.A.H. Buckley has collected from his involvement in the South Saskatchewan River Project. The material has been arranged according to the groupings and headings which Dr. Buckley has assigned them.

This fonds consists of material concerning University of Saskatchewan committees, Department of English examinations, faculty minutes, and graduate work, as well as lecture notes for creative writing, American and Celtic literature, Chaucer, Thomas Hardy, the romantics, and "Modern Literature and Christianity." Most of the fonds consists of manuscripts of articles, stories, reviews, and books, as well as radio plays, research notes, and manuscripts for McCourt's unpublished and in-progress works.

This fonds contains correspondence, memoranda, minutes, reports, clippings, and copies of federal and provincial legislation pertaining to Dr. Katz's activities with the Science Council of Canada Committee on Computer Applications and Technology.

This information relates primarily to Louis Horlick's academic and medical career as a cardiologist specializing in the cause and treatment of coronary heart disease.

This fonds contains information concerning college, departmental and University administration, including files on both the Dept. of Audio-Visual Services and the College of Home Economics, as well as on various committees, including the Ad Hoc Committee on Sex, Alcoholism and Drugs, and the Faculty Association. There is also material on several professional associations, including the Canadian Association of Sport Sciences, the Sask. Physical Therapists Association, and the Canadian Federation of Biological Societies. Along with his personal correspondence and lecture notes, this fonds also contains Dr. Millar's research notes, involving his work on thermistors, nicotinic acid, vitamin K, and his correspondence with the National Research Council.

This fonds contains Professor Eager's files on the Alumni Association, Faculty Association, Canadian Committee on Counselling for Engineering, and radio broadcasts for "The World of Chemistry," as well as personal correspondence and lecture notes. In addition, there are several research files on uranium, lignite, kinetics, silicates, and radiation chemistry.

This fonds documents the academic career of P.M. Swan through correspondence with colleagues and friends, work for and by students, research and publication, and administrative records including material pertaining to the Museum of Antiquities.

This fonds contains files relating to Professor Byers research in Northern Saskatchewan and Manitoba, specifically Amisk, Wildnest, Annabel, Waddy, Neagle, Face, Errington, Black and Pillow lakes; Flin Flon; and Missi Island.

This fonds contains considerable information pertaining to the militia and various aspects of the military in Canada, including Defence Medical Associations. Dr. Begg's academic career is also well documented, including publications, lectures, grant applications, material relating to cancer research, and promotions and committee work at the University of Saskatchewan. Additionally, there is considerable material on the Medical Research Council, [Royal] University Hospital Board and the various societies and associations to which Dr. Begg belonged.

This fonds contains information on various associations, including correspondence, minutes, reports, constitution and bylaws pertaining to the founding and activities of the Society for the Promotion of Art History Publications in Canada; and to the establishment, financing and distribution of "Revire d'Art Canadienne / Canadian Art Review;" as well as correspondence relating to the Society for the Study of Architecture in Canada and the Universities Art Association of Canada. It includes a proposal for the establishment of the Department of Art History at the University of Saskatchewan and correspondence, memoranda, minutes and reports pertaining to the establishment, administration and operation of the Museum of Antiquities. Included in this are a considerable number of photographs, both of original acquisitions for the Museum and items that were to be considered for future purchases. In addition, there are photos of art reproductions done at the Louvre, and several photos of Columbian, African, Medieval, Japanese, Greek, and Roman sculptures. The majority of the collection contains Professor Gyenes' personal correspondence, writing, speeches, research and lecture notes, as well as museum and gallery catalogues, clippings and a bibliography for research and lectures.

This fonds contains Professor Arnason's genealogy; correspondence regarding W.P. Thompson's retirement; material relating to the planning and formal opening of the Biology Building; and information concerning the Faculty Association.

This fonds contains correspondence, clippings, financial fonds, reports, and notes pertaining to the activities and interests of R.C. Carter.

This collection contains the material kept by Professor Deverell in his capacity as Secretary for the Quance Lecture Series. It includes minutes of the committee meetings, correspondence with lecturers, and an almost complete set of both the manuscripts and the published lectures. Missing are the lectures by D.H. Russell (1953), G.E. Flower (1964), and J.R. Kidd (1966) (see University Lectures). Lecturers included J.G. Althouse, ME. LaZerte, W.P. Percival, H.L. Campbell, J.P. Gilmour, C.E. Phillips, G.A. Frecker, H.P. Moffatt, W.H. Swift, W.S. Lloyd, Msgr. I. Lussier, R.W.B. Jackson, J.M Paton, S.R. Laycock, J.F. Leddy, W.R. Wees, F. MacKinnon, J.A. Corry, H. Janzen, A. Renaud, C.D. Ovans, and S. This fonds contains information concerning various professional associations, including the American, Canadian, and Saskatchewan Psychological Associations; Government departments and agencies, such as the Defense Research Board, the Women's Bureau, and the National Research Council; and the Royal Commission on Health Services. There are also several files of lecture and research notes (including work done with Dr. Jaques), personal correspondence, and departmental material, including reports, curriculum, recruitment, and promotion; as well as two of Dr. McMurray's abstracts: "Theories of Pain and Congenital Universal Insensitivity to Pain" and "The Background of Thought and Language."
