Barn fire at Silverwood Dairies Limited

File contains photographs of a fire at the Silverwood Dairies Limited giant livestock barn on July 6, 1951, including some of the other buildings on the site. Built about 1911, the barn was part of Billy Silverwood's Silver Spring Farm, which included the Silver Springs Bottling Works, which in 1913 was part of the proposed Factoria development. It was hit by lightning and destroyed by the subsequent fire.
