This series contains materials related to Robert Currie's involvement with the Festival of Words, the Saskatchewan Writers Guild, and various literary events.

6. General correspondence and other material

Series includes records which do not necessarily relate to particular committee, general correspondence of the University Secretary, miscellaneous files, etc. Includes general correspondence and annual reports; records relating to academic programmes; records relating to associations; records relating to buildings; Chancellor's correspondence; Records relating to Convocation; individual files relating primarily to honorary degrees; records relating to tribute dinners; case files relating to student discipline, appeal cases, complaints, etc.; records relating to memorial services, etc.; records relating to scholarships and awards; records of search committees for senior administrators; records relating to changes to the University Act; and general/miscellaneous records.

6. Language Laboratory

Series includes records relating to the establishment of the lab, renovations, and equipment; general information and records relating to administration and finance; correspondence and reports relating to the University Library; and correspondence and requests. These appear to be records maintained by Linton Davenport, technician and later manager of the Lab.

7. Personal

This series consists of memorabilia related to awards and literary events, as well as reviews and articles about Robert Currie.

8. Kamsack Data

This series contains extensive data collected for Shimpo and Williamson's "Socio-Cultural Disintegration Among the Fringe Salteaux;" together with correspondence, reference materials, questionnaires, etc., relating to that study.

This series is composed of notes for lectures taken and presented, thesis research, including notes, bibliographies, drafts, etc., for Avra Watson (on Melanesia and New Guinea), cassettes and 78 rpm records, examinations (including comprehensives), grades, academic assessments, reviews, papers and presentations, conferences of various societies and associations, class assignments and theses, and information pertaining to the departments of anthropology and sociology at the University of Saskatchewan.
