This fonds contains two series: Honours Conferred and Memorabilia. This includes documents pertaining to awards and honours received by A. E. Peacock as well as event programs, family history, clippings, letters, drawings, speeches, school notebooks and photographs kept by the family.
This series includes certificates and other documents related to honours received by A. E. Peacock, such as the Order of Canada and the renaming of Moose Jaw Technical Institute to A. E. Peacock Technical High School. It also includes certificates from the Free Masons.
This fonds contains drafts and preparations for the SIAST’s yearbooks from 1981-1986, meeting minutes of the SRC from 1980, and information booklets from 1976-1981. It includes page layouts, prints of photographs, negatives, meeting minutes, booklets, and a blueprint.
This collection reflects the historical research conducted by Ken Bradley in preparation for his book entitled Out of bounds: a century of golf in Moose Jaw. The research includes print outs and photocopies of newspaper articles, primarily from the Moose Jaw Time Herald, about golf in Moose Jaw from 1900-2008. It also includes summaries written by Bradley of golf happenings in the area.
This fonds reflects the activity of Heritage Moose Jaw. It includes one scrapbook of heritage buildings in Moose Jaw and material about the Moose Jaw Cemetery. The organization received a grant to help restore some of the tombstones in the cemetery and they collected information about the individuals buried there.
This fonds consists of the business and activities of the Welcome Wagon Newcomers Alumni Club. Included are the constitution and by-laws, membership lists, agendas and minutes of meetings, and planning lists for activities. There are two coil bound scrapbooks of photographs, cards, and newspaper clippings of Club activities. There are two editions of Welcome Wagon International Handbook and By-Laws.
This fonds contains documents regarding the operation of the Moose Jaw Cardiaction Support Group from February 11, 1999 to March 1, 2017, shortly after the group’s disbandment. The fonds is divided into several series that outline its various functions and activities: Minutes, Communications, Membership, Correspondences, Forms, Recipes, Jokes, and Photographs.
This series includes meetings minutes of the Moose Jaw Camping club from its inception to its cessation. Also included amongst the minutes are statements of income and expenses for each year.
This series consists of correspondences from the Moose Jaw & District Seniors Association to the Moose Jaw Camping Club, and from the club to former club president June Helm.
