This is Doug McGillivray’s “Memory Lane” sports collection. It is a compilation of newspaper and magazine clippings of sporting events from 1904-1993. The sporting events include: horse racing, golf, collegiate sports, boxing, wrestling, soccer, ladies and men’s softball, Western Hockey Association (W.H.A.) hockey, track and field, basketball, old-timer hockey and National Hockey League (N.H.L.) hockey. The clippings are mounted on coloured bristol board.

This fonds consists of three books: Wehman Bros.’ New Book of 153 Tricks, and Morang’s Modern Phonic Primer: Part 1 & 2. Morang’s Modern Phonic Primers were “authorized by the Minister of Education for use in the public schools of Ontario”. Mary Harding’s name is inscribed on both part 1 & 2 and the books are heavily annotated.

This collection contains 26 copies of The Collegiate Outlook from 1906-1914. The Collegiate Outlook was a school magazine published from November to March by the Literary Society of the Moose Jaw High School. It contains essays and jokes written by students, as well as meeting minutes of the Literary Society. These issues were mailed to Mrs. Roy E. Campbell in Regina, although the name Beatrice Watson is signed on many copies of the magazine. The editors of the volumes are: Vol. 3 - Editor: A. W Keith, Vol. 4 – Editor-in-chief: R. J. This collection contains letters written by Anna Charlotte Orr to her husband Albert Norman Collard before and after they were married. It also contains a family tree and other genealogical research compiled by Norman Collard. Though the information is part of a larger history of the Collard family, the records contained pertain mainly to Anna Charlotte Orr who was from Moose Jaw.

The Agnes (Frejd) Richards fonds consists of 34 cm of textual records. This includes 16 textbooks brought from Ontario to assist Mrs. Richards in her classroom. The textbooks cover a variety of subjects, such as poetry, composition, history, nature study, and arithmetic.

This collection contains photocopied records of and about Emmet Heiter that were prepared and photocopied by Bill and Dee Dee McCreary. These have been organized into four series: correspondence, service papers, research, and photographs.

The Elks Club fonds consists of 11 series: Scrapbooks and Clippings, Financial Records, Legal Documents, Meetings and Conferences, Publications, Correspondence, Membership, Events, Rules and Regulations, History of the Lodge and Lodge Renovations. This fonds also contains some material from the Elks Club auxiliary group, The Order of the Royal Purple.

This fonds consists of a book containing minutes of meetings from 1910-1921 and financial records from 1910-1915 of the Maple Leaf Rural Telephone Company Limited.

This collection contains two copies of the promotional booklet Moose Jaw: The Buckle of the Greatest Wheat Belt in the World. It was published in 1913 by Rice’s Studio, with Lewis Rice as publisher. It includes facts and figures about Moose Jaw as well as photographs and illustrations of the town. Many of the photographs were taken by Rice. Both booklets bear a stamp from the Moose Jaw Board of Trade.

This fonds contains one ledger belonging to A. W. Irwin. This ledger contains the accounts of his insurance and real estate business from 1910-1911. It includes his client lists and account information. Irwin sold various kinds of insurance, such as life and fire insurance, as well as real estate. He also offered mortgages and loans. The ledger also includes the personal account of Irwin.

This fonds consists of photocopies of correspondence and other miscellaneous items related to the business of the Newberry Rural Telephone Company.

This fonds consists of the minute book of the Village of Keeler Council from 1910 to 1927.

This fonds contains a cash book used by C.C. McAlpine. It lists income paid to C.C. McAlpine by various people and organizations, including former Moose Jaw mayor Ernest Pascoe, and the Moose Jaw Public Library. Also included are correspondence letters within the cash book.

This fonds contains a scrapbook on the 1983 reunion Marlborough School Reunion, and an essay on the history of Boharm, Saskatchewan.

This fonds contains a minute book of meetings of trustees and ratepayers, daily registers for attendance at the Blofield School No. 1307, an inventory of the land and the school building, correspondence from the secretary treasurer of the Blofield School District as well as notes from a meeting of the School Board.
