Fonds consists of personal papers documenting Les Crossman's career as an English professor, writer and lecturer. Arranged in twelve series (Biographical; Clippings; Correspondence; Educational; Financial; Governmental; Miscellaneous; Professional and Other Organizations; Universities; Writings, Speeches, Performances and Research; Photographs; and Sound Recordings), the bulk of the fonds is made up of Dr. Crossman's wide-ranging correspondence with various individuals and organizations. Of particular interest is the extensive personal correspondence with family, colleagues, friends and acquaintances, and students, as well as a series of his articles and speeches, which provide insights into Dr. Crossman as a teacher, a scholar, and a friend.
