Scope and content
Dub of documentary entitled Guinea Pig Club, produced by Infinity Films, Vancouver, British Columbia. The documentary, narrated by Gerard Plunkett, focuses on the 649 men (176 Canadians) who served in World War II and suffered burn-related disfigurement, and received plastic, reconstructive surgery in England after the war. The documentary, which includes archival photographs and footage from the Saskatchewan Archives Board, was written and directed by Shel Piercy; produced by Cynthia Chapman and Pat O'Brien; executive produced by Dan Carriere and Shel Piercy.
