These records were accessioned by the Provincial Archives of Saskatchewan as 2019-057 on June 11, 2019.

Scope and content

Whiteprint copies of maps denoting forest roads in the Hudson Bay, La Ronge, Prince Albert, and Meadow Lake regions of northern Saskatchewan, annotated and copied by the Wildlife Branch of the Saskatchewan Department of Parks and Renewable Resources from topographical maps originally produced and published by the Surveys and Mapping Branch of the federal Department of Energy, Mines and Resources between 1964 and 1985. Annotations by Wildlife Branch staff include forest road systems, classes and closures, and wildlife management zone numbers.

Includes sectional maps for districts (with original map number in parentheses following): Swan Lake (63 C); Hudson Bay (63 D); Pasquia Hills (63 E); The Pas (63 F); Cormorant Lake (63 K); Amisk Lake (63 L); Pelican Narrows (63 M); Lac La Ronge (73 P); Shellbrook (73 G); Prince Albert (73 H); Wapawekka Hills (73 I); Green Lake (73 J); St. Walburg (73 F); Waterhen River (73 K); Buffalo Narrows (73 N); and Ile a la Crosse, Beauval, and Pinehouse districts (73 O).
