Biographical history

John George Egnatoff was born in 1914 near Perdue, Saskatchewan. From 1935 to 1978, he worked primarily as an educator and administrator in rural Saskatchewan, Nigeria and Saskatoon. He served as a Liberal member for the Melfort Constituency in the Saskatchewan Legislature from 1948 to 1952. Egnatoff was a regular and executive member of numerous educational, community, cultural and religious organizations at the local, provincial and national level. He died in Saskatoon on August 12, 2005.

Scope and content

This series consists of records created, accumulated and used from 1938 to 2004 by Dr. John G. Egnatoff as a regular and executive member of various community, religious and cultural organizations.

The types of records included are correspondence, memoranda, reports, publications, programmes, newspaper clippings, bulletins, newsletters, agendas and minutes and photographs.
