Biographical history

Bessie Badger was born in the United States on June 16, 1896. She moved to Saskatoon on November 10, 1919. She began work at the Saskatoon Land Titles Office on November 22, 1919, where she worked until she retired when she was in her sixties. She married late in life, but outlived her husband. She died in 1983.

Custodial history

A family friend of Bessie Badger, Nora Fraser, donated these records to the Saskatoon office, Saskatchewan Archives, in one accession in 2005: S2005-64 (November 23, 2005).

Scope and content

Personal expense records and receipts of Bessie Badger, 1925-1954; list of expenses, expenses notebook, telegram, bus and train schedules and a Victoria Tourists' Travelogue, related to a trip made by Bessie Badger to Vancouver, 1926.
