Scope and content

Video featuring Back to Batoche event in Batoche, Saskatchewan in July 1995. The event celebrates Métis culture and heritage. Video was narrated by Ed Swain and includes footage of music, dancing (jigging), rodeo, bannock baking, sports, march to grave site, and medal presentation to Metis veterans. Includes interviews with Ed Swain, Leebert Poitras, Jim Durocher, Gerald Morin, Edward King, Bruce Flamont, Henery Cummings, Randy Smith. Video was produced by Graphic Image Group Inc. Dan Semenoff was Director of Photography.
