The main objective of the Archive is to gather, structure, and disseminate knowledge, particularly with regard to any records which give evidence and information about the School's history, organization, function and structure.

The Archibald Library - Briercrest College and Seminary is an institutional archive that preserves documents and records containing permanent historical value that have been and continue to be created during the day to day functioning of many of the schools at Caronport (Briercrest Bible College since 1935, Caronport High School since 1946, and Briercrest Biblical Seminary since 1983). All formats of records are collected, e.g. video, pictures, papers, etc. Records which give evidence and information about the institutional history, function and structure thus constitute the official "memory" of the institution and of the educational community.
